Day 24 - Phone Sex
“What’s the rush, Don-Tron?” asked Michelangelo, leaning over the front seat to taunt his brother who was gunning it back to the sewer.
“I made plans,” he mumbled.
“He’s got a game to play,” Leonardo chimed in.
Gripping the steering wheel, Donatello shut his eyes momentarily and took a deep breath. “I told you, it’s not just a game, guys. It’s the only time my friend can really sit down and play together with me since they work full time. I’ve been waiting to play the update until we could play it together.”
A grin stretched across Mikey’s face. “Ohhh… Like a date?”
Geez, no matter what he said, they’d always find a way to twist it and rib him for it. He chose not to dignify it. He was more concerned about finding the fastest route back to the lair. There was more truth to that little taunt than they realized.
Soon enough, he parked the van and all the turtles piled out to go their separate ways. Donatello made a beeline for his computer, stripping himself of any gear right at his desk before sitting down and frantically opening his chat app. He saw a message from a familiar username and sighed. His pal, daniidankko, had messaged him about an hour ago saying that she was home from work and ready to play whenever he was. Her status was Do Not Disturb, which she always put herself in whenever they had a call together. That was starting to become more and more frequent lately. Without bothering with a message, he started a call. and within seconds of ringing, he heard her voice coming through his headset.
“There you are!” Dani exclaimed after answering the call.
“Sorry I was late,” he said, adjusting his headset. “There was something we had to finish.”
“Oh, yeah? Finally had a hot date?”
Donatello groaned playfully, shaking his head even though he wasn’t on camera.
“You know, you have the same exact sense of humor as my brothers,” he said.
"As much as you talk about them, I’ll take that as a compliment.”
“You should,” he said. “You’d definitely get along with them. Well, when they’re not being insufferable pains in the tail.”
“Maybe they should hop on sometime,” she teased.
“Absolutely not,” he replied. He could only imagine how much they’d embarrass him if they ever joined a game with them.
“Aw, no need to be jealous, Donnie,” said Dani. “I’m sure you’d still be my favorite.”
For some reason, any time he got on a call with her, he couldn’t wipe the goofy grin off his face. Banter like this left him with this fluttering feeling deep within. Would she flirt with him like this if she knew the truth? Would she still waste her Friday nights on him if she was aware that he was a talking mutant turtle? Probably not, but what she didn’t know didn’t hurt either of them. As pathetic as it probably was, these chats with her were the highlight of his week. He had no idea what having a girlfriend was like, but he imagined it’d be a lot like this. If it was, he would be the most content turtle in the world.
They made up for lost time by getting right into the updated story mode of the RPG they played together. Like any other game night, they talked very little about the game and a lot about life… Or rather, Dani went on and on about her life and Donnie listened intently. While he had long come to terms with his identity and role in society, sometimes it stung a bit not to be able to share his life with her as freely as she did with him. He tended to live vicariously through her because of this, and at some point, he grew so invested in her work drama that he felt like he had been in the office with her this whole time.
During a pause in gameplay, he reached down to adjust himself. He loved listening to her. She had the cutest laugh, paired with the most adorable accent. He didn’t consider himself to have that wild of a sex drive, but something about these late-night talks with her were so intimate that his body felt the need to react accordingly.
“You’re awfully quiet over there tonight, Donnie,” Dani eventually commented. “Even more so than usual. Are you okay?”
“Huh? Oh! Yeah, yes. Just a little focused over here,” he chuckled, feeling a touch embarrassed that he’d gotten so riled up that he wasn’t properly engaging in the conversation.
“Aw, paying more attention to the game than me?”
“Pfft. Never, Dan-Dan,” he assured her. "Not in a million years."
The sound of Dani’s giggles came through the headset and sent a sensation straight to his groin.
“Donnie,” she then said. Either his ears deceived him, or it sounded a bit pensive. It was a somber turn from the lighthearted giggling from seconds before.
“What’s wrong?”
“… Is it bad I wish you were here?”
The world stopped spinning after she vocalized that thought. Donatello heard the words, but had difficulty processing them. They didn’t sound teasing. They didn’t sound playful. They sounded… genuine. He swallowed the lump that formed in his throat and sat up a little straighter in his chair, lowering his voice.
“… No,” he mustered the strength to answer. “Not at all. I… was actually just thinking that too…”
“See, I knew we shared a wavelength,” she said, paired with a soft laugh. A sigh soon followed. “I mean it. If you were here, I wouldn’t be so lonely.”
“Yeah…” He didn’t know what to say, how to react. He agreed with her. A thousand percent, he wished they were together. Even though he knew they were half a country away, even though he knew they were from different worlds, he wished for nothing more than to be able to be with her. He wanted to be able to hold and comfort her. “… I wish I could touch you.” After he said that, he realized how weird it sounded. “T-To know that you’re real.”
The tension that had followed Dani’s confession was eased after his little slip up.
“Shit, I wish you could touch me too,” she joked. That vulnerability had vanished, leaving only a sultry, suggestive tone in its wake. Donatello squeezed his eyes shut and a shaky exhale slipped past his parted lips. She was really trying him tonight. For a disciplined ninja, it was really taking every ounce of restraint he had not to stick his hand down his pants. This wasn’t the first time they’d had a conversation like this, and he hoped like shell it wouldn’t be the last time.
“Where?”
His voice was strained now. That one word was so husky, it took her a few seconds to understand what he had said.
“… Where?” she clarified.
He closed his eyes, hand hovering over the front of his pants. This was risky as hell. With anyone else, he’d be embarrassed about talking like this, but with her, everything was a different story.
“Where… would you let me touch you?”
“… Anywhere.”
The way she whispered that into her microphone tickled his ears. His hand fell onto his lap and squeezed his bulge through the fabric.
“Everywhere,” she added. “Wherever your hands can roam, that’s where I want you to touch me.”
He pictured her body in his mind, pieced together from the few selfies he’d seen of her. The thought of that soft, pliant flesh under his hands made him twitch.
“Not just your hands either,” she said. “Your lips too.”
With his free hand, he pressed the mute button on his headset so he could pull his zipper without it being picked up by the microphone. He unmuted immediately after, biting his lip as his fingers coiled around his erection.
“I-I’d like that,” he said, then winced afterwards. He was so bad at this dirty talking stuff. He couldn’t imagine that he sounded anywhere near as sexy as she did, but he tried for her sake. “You… You know, you can touch me too…”
“That’s a given, Donnie,” she laughed. “In fact, you should just imagine that’s my hand on you right now. Don’t think I didn’t hear you mute.”
Donatello groaned, but didn’t fuss. He was too busy stroking himself to be upset.
“A-And… I suppose that you… know from experience?” he stammered, trying to keep his voice even.
“Completely guilty,” she said.
