Day 3: ABO

Soon after meeting her, Piers knew he was no match for Annais.  She was stronger than him.  She was braver than him.  She was more capable, more powerful.  He couldn’t comprehend the things she did.  Annais was everything.  That tiny frame of hers exuded more alpha energy than that of any other he had ever come into contact with.  Just being in her presence intoxicated him.  It was both a surprise and an honor that she wanted him as a mate.  He couldn’t dream of saying no to a beautiful alpha such as herself.

Over time, Piers began to see why she had chosen him.  A female alpha was rare in Galar, a submissive female alpha was unheard of.  Though he was an omega, he was a leader.  His nurturing nature was to his benefit; it caused him to be more assertive than most like him.  He had fooled many into believing he was something he was not. But he did not fool Annais.  From their first encounter, she sensed Piers was everything she needed.

Annais could easily control him if she wanted, but she didn’t.  She yearned for someone to take care of her and someone to share the load with. She had butt heads with too many other alphas; other omegas wanted to bend to her.  Piers’s dominant, yet tender nature was irresistible to her.  In turn, she would provide for him.  Her earnings as champion far exceeded his as a musician.  She could give him, his sister, and their future family a better life than he could without him giving up his dreams.  She could protect their family, just as she protected Galar from destruction many times.

“Ann,” he croaked, raking his teeth across her neck as he rutted against her leg.  “Ann, you need to give me a baby.”

Piers was in heat.  During his heats, he wanted nothing more than to breed with Annais.  His paternal instincts flared up during times like this.  He wished he could carry it himself.  If he were with a male alpha, he could carry his own.  But their current arrangement wouldn’t permit that, and didn’t want to mate with anyone else.  He couldn’t.  He needed his babies to be hers.  This time, she had promised, would be the time.  That knowledge may have made this heat so much worse than any he’d experienced before.

“Carry it for me,” he growled.  The dominant part of him meant it as a demand; the omega in him was begging for a child.  “Then, let me do the rest.”

Piers panted and rubbed his erection against her harder, trying to relieve some of the friction.  Before her, it wasn’t so bad.  He tended to be extra protective of Marnie or more irritated with others during those days, but nothing overtly discernable.  There wasn’t an alpha in Spikemuth whose scent was potent enough to send him into a fever, if any at all.  Yet around Annais, his mind grew clouded with lust.  She could barely get him off of her long enough to leave his room in this state.  He whined whenever she wasn’t be his side.  Annais had convinced his sister to go stay with a friend for a few days while her brother was ‘sick’ to save face just a bit.  It would be embarrassing for him when this was over if he realized anyone saw how desperate he was towards Annais during his cycle.

“Nez,” she said with her legs firmly crossed.  “We gotta wait, baby.  You know we gotta wait.”

Annais could not deny that his scent alone was making this difficult.  His need culminated in such a way that the air around him was heady.  He could fuck her now, but it wouldn’t take.  That could only happen if she was in heat herself.  The sole way to could get to that point is if she abstained long enough to get herself desperate for him.  Female alphas were blessed with this as a form of birth control. They could take as many omega partners as they pleased, but choose which ones were worthy of actually mating with by taking them during their heat.  It could take hours or days, but she had to go without until it triggered if they wanted a family.

“The moment you’re in heat,” he huffed.  “The moment…”

“The moment I’m in heat, I’m going to let you just like we discussed,” she assured him, brushing away the damp bangs that clung to his glistening brow.  “I promised I’ll carry your child for you this time.  I’ll let it grow and get strong.  Then, it will be yours to raise and love.  We just have to be patient for a little longer.”

When Piers buried his nose in her neck to sigh, she brought her hand between his legs.

“Can I help you some other kinda way in the meantime?” she asked, squeezing him through the fabric of his shorts.  A choked groan rose from his throat, followed by a sob of pure frustration.  Hearing those types of noises from him really stirred something inside of her.  She felt the first sparks of heat flicker deep within her core.  At this rate, it wouldn’t be long before nature took its course.
